Well, if you really want to use map mods, cool.Most people will tell you that Promods is the best one. (and I admit, that the map itself is preety good, it just comes with lots of stuff that I personally don't need/want and Promods devs for some reason locked the mod )Just note that if you download a map mod you will have to wait at least 2 weeks for an update every time SCS releases a new game patch. (and one of them is most likely comming next week)So in that matter agree with SiSL: standard map + DLC's is the best you can get. Reasonable quality, good optimisation, and no waiting when new patch is out. Choosing a map map is a very personal decision. I like very much to play always with at least one map mod activated, and I like to play different profiles with different combos of maps. But I'm no 100% fan of any of them, so there go my two cents.RusMap is my single favorite map.

If you don't mind to suffer a noticeable FPS rate drop, ProMods will show you a lot of beautiful and unusual places like Iceland, Andorra or Finland.TruckSim has very simple scenery and map assets (and VERY 'imaginative' regarding to architecture, but it adds a lot of extra mileage of roads.Southern Region Map adds extra roads to the south of the area covered by RusMap, but it's a little irregular in the finish to my taste.

Some areas look like plain or a little 'unfinished', while others are perhaps too cluttered. The final result is, anyway, beautiful to play in.I have yet to test EAA Brazil map for a change.
